Avoid the tough questions.  Use Jesus.

At first I shook my head.  Then I started to laugh.  Finally a co-worker helped me realize he's evangelizing to someone who is already a believer.

Stick with the whole thing (it gets good about a minute in) and share your thoughts.

Well, that interview should set Christianity back about 2000 years in that County.
I wonder if "Jesus loves you" is the new "no comment."
This is so what I'm going to do next time someone asks me to talk about something tricky.
Being from St. Louis, I immediately recognized the reporter. He does the "You paid for it" segments all the time and has helped in some cases. Being familiar with the topic of the segment, the Juvenile Center, it seems this clip is a few years old. I have to give the reporter credit for sticking to his question despite the man's behavior. I wonder if the man thinks the reporter is doing an immoral thing...
Jesus loves you. Everyone else thinks you're an asshole.
This is cool. Thanks for posting the video link.
"I hope that you continue to (love Jesus)" sounds like a threat. Almost like he's indirectly suggesting "respect your government and back off this issue with your report, or we'll 'sick the hounds' on you and/or your loved ones". Maybe I watch too many crime dramas... but this was a little creepy.
But what about genocide, and sexual abuse and environmental sustainability???

Um, uh.. um... Jesus loves you!
Well, he is certainly not the first one to use Jesus for his own self-interested purpose, is he? This may be about as blatant as it gets, but I am different only by degrees much of the time and so is most every other believer I know. We map out our journeys and then ask Jesus along for the ride. Then, hopefully, we come to our senses from time to time and try to get our hands off the wheel. But I've found my times of sanity/clarity are not nearly as often as I would like.
I like his message. I'm just not sure that it's on point.
