Is there a higher purpose for business than profit?

Can there be a "higher purpose" behind a business, something other than just making money? That's the question raised by Alan Webber in a recent USA Today blog post. The Point blog takes the question a step further and talks about how Christians ought to approach business and capitalism. Short version: remember that making money is a means to an end, not an end in itself. What are you doing with the money you've made from your business?
