It’s Spring!  And a Few Images to Think About.

By the way today is the first day of spring! Even if it is a dirty rotten lie, I still urge you to go balance an egg. Wow/embarrass your children! Impress/bore your friends!

Begs the question: Are we more concerned with our own brand of righteousness or bringing people into a relationship with Christ? Because if all the church has become is an effective self-help plan or an arbiter of a new form of righteousness we clearly missing the point. Has anyone run into this kind of thinking before?

This is the time when church camps are gearing up for all of the activities that come with late spring and summer. There are many things to do at the camps to get them ready and that is where this starts. If your church sponsers a camp then great, but if you don't maybe your men or women groups could find one locally and help out. Then for those who are going as camp staff, it's not to late to attend some of the safe sancturary/safe children programs on how to help and assist those who need your help in difficult situations. Ask your church administration about programs to help support church camps, as they do alot to bring others to Christ. In God's Grace John
If only that were true. I can't think of anything that has been more destructive in my life, and I'm not talking about booze or porn!
