Thanks for the excellent message.

I'd like to add a few things:

1) Jesus said to his disciples that in this world they'd have trouble but be of good courage because I've overcome the world (Susan's paraphrase).

2) We live in a fallen world where bad things and situations come to all people.

3) According to Paul, without the Resurrection our faith would be in vain.

4) And yes, someday Jesus will wipe away the tears from the eyes of those who receive his forgiveness and love. And the last enemy to be conquered will be death.

I think what the sermon is talking about how this is friday. All the world is at Friday.

But Sunday's coming.

That's why Jesus was firstborn from the dead.
Do you really believe, then Friday or Sunday doesn't matter except to praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has and continues to do things for us everyday, just look around you, then tell someone else of his love for us in that he gave his all for each and every one of us. Then don't be surprized when the angle who is standing next to you smiles at the one who loves you and says they know the Son is coming. In God's Grace John
