Are you attending the Internet Ministry Conference this year? There are only a few days left to register (you've got through Monday), so if you've just been thinking about it, now's the time to act.
The IMC is hosted by Gospel Communications—the folks behind ThinkChristian—and there's an impressive lineup of speakers for this year's conference, including Gabe Lyons (co-author of unChristian), Brad Abare (of ChurchMarketingSucks), and Cynthia Ware (of The Digital Sanctuary).
Having been to IMC last year (and for several years before that), I'll testify that it's a great couple days of training and inspiration, all focused on internet ministry and evangelism. And the best part is that at least some ThinkChristian contributors will be roaming around the conference, so you'll have a chance to hunt us down and tell us what you really think of our comment moderation policy.
(OK, don't really do that.)
But do check out the IMC website and see if it's something that interests you. Maybe we'll see a few of you there!

On the fence? Here is a hook for you all.
I just had a meeting with a top Google executive (pancakes in Pasadena) and a few weeks ago I had dinner with the Yang’s, the founders and owners of Yahoo (my brother is a top executive with Armani; he has those connections, I was a tag along). After the wine and dine, I asked them key questions we all want to know about web placement, ranking and marketing, what works what does not what I (we) can do better, what I should not be doing… How a $1,600 dollar bottle of wine helps make information flow (glad I did not have to buy it-lol)… And all these incredible priceless insights will be typed up and given as a handout at the conference at the “Content Driven Discipleship That Works” Internet Discipleship track…
Also, I will be meeting with the top guy at Google who is in charge of CEO trends, Chris_____, no need for his last name... On Sept 18… So if you have questions- let me know... but... the answers will only be at the conference and this is a great conference and worth the time and trip expense!
Be blessed!

A teaser, a tip of the iceberg, remember the basics, this is called a "Web" and the bots that rank us are called "spiders"...know a little about how these insects work, then you know a little better how the WWW works, same game plan... Content is King but not all content is royal...avoid the fools content...
OK if you have not figured it out- spiders i.e. inter linking with like sites not with unlike sites... so the spiders can craw web to web..
Web - bookmaking like on G.com is gold. Link farms and dead links are grounds for Google dismissal...
This is just a teaser....
