New Poll: What makes your church so great?

Andy and I think we covered all the possible answers to the question, "What makes your church so great?" in our new poll.

Just in case our razor-sharp discernment didn't encompass a reason you like your church, feel free to chime in with your answer in the comments.

I actually went to a business meeting for my last year. There are over 10,000 people that attend the church every week and less than 50 people came to the business meeting. That includes at least 10 staff (maybe more since I don't know all of the staff and elders). What shocked me more was that there was a comment about how well attended the meeting was. Evidently the year before there was around 25.
The business meetings, for sure.

No, in all seriousness, its funny that you post this because the sermon at my church this past Sunday was on greatness and what makes someone great. What did Christ say makes someone great? To be a servant. To put others first. I love my church, and I don't know if we are "great" but I think any greatness comes from the fact that we are all broken sinners redeemed by Christ's death, willing to come together as we really are and worship the God of the Universe in love and in truth, despite our many failings and weaknesses.
Paul answers this poll question in Galatians 6:14,
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

As for our monthly business meeting, something like half the church is in attendance.
The presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and the grace that flows to believers through it!
I am not sure I would classify our church as great, but it is a place where I am able to learn how to represent Christ in our community. About 1000 people attend services every Sunday, and there are about 50,000 people in our town. So that means there are many people we haven't reached. Our youth pastor preached on how he likes to live "outside the box" and I think that is how all of us should be living and sharing. We are the church, and what people see in us is how they see the church and Christ. Christ lived outside the box while he was here, and we should follow his example.
