It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new weekly poll. Last week's poll asked what you think of the Evangelical Manifesto. Exactly 100 of you voted—considerably less than in previous polls, but that number does make it easy for even math-challenged me to calculate the percentages. Here's what you had to say about the Evangelical Manifesto:
- 25% of you said that you love it.
- 24%, on the other hand, claimed ignorance of the Evangelical Manifesto, perhaps supporting the opinion of the 21% who said that good or bad, the Manifesto would have no significant impact.
- 19% voiced the moderate position that the Manifesto is a step in the right direction, but isn't perfect.
- 11% found the Manifesto seriously flawed.
You can read some of the discussion of the Manifesto here. It's not too late to share your thoughts!
With that aside, then, it's on to the new poll. Although I have not yet seen Prince Caspian, and have read conflicting reports of its faithfulness to the spirit of the book, all the Narnia chatter lately has put me into a C.S. Lewis sort of mood. So your question this week is: Which of the remaining Narnia books are you most interested in seeing on the big screen?
Go forth and vote! And share your answers and opinions below, of course. As for my pick, I'm most excited about Dawn Treader—I must have read that book dozens of times as a kid. The other books were fun, but DT's island-hopping exploration really captured my imagination, and I think the right filmmakers could do wonders with it on the big screen.
