We asked you last week to vote and tell us which Biblical languages, if any, you've studied. Here's how the results broke down:

40% of you have studied Greek. This was a pleasant surprise, and suggests that many of our readers are pastors or church leaders. Or just really smart. (Or both.)
Coming in at second place are the 38% who haven't studied a Biblical language but would like to at some point. To you I say: go for it! It's not as frighteningly difficult as you might think (until you get to Participles).
31% of you have studied ancient Hebrew.
An honest 13% say that they haven't studied a Biblical languages and have no plans to. Fair enough.
And finally, 3% say they've studied Aramaic. Truly my friends, you are the Jack Bauers of the theological world.

Chris just posted about the challenge of getting people to switch Bible versions. Taking off from that post, then, is our new poll: How long have you been reading your current Bible version? Or to word it slightly differently, when was the last time you switched Bible versions? (And I'm asking about the Bible you consider your "primary" go-to Bible version—I know all you Greek and Hebrew scholars probably have bookshelves weighed down with different Bible versions.)

Not to discourage anyone, but in addition to participles, I'd add genitive in Greek, which is very flexible (read "confusing").

I'd also second the encouragement to take biblical languages; it's worth the work.

I have used the NLT as my primary Bible for about three and a half years. I wrote about how I came to use it in a post over at the NLT Blog a few weeks ago.

I had used the ESV since day one, but recently switched to the TNIV...basically because my study of Greek finally pulled me to the other side of the gender inclusive discussion.

I read the closest to me at the time. I have four that I use NIV, KJV, Study bible and my wifes' sweet bible, even blood and gore sound sweet. I know enough Greek to get me in trouble and a Jewish friend told me not to try hebrew without some one who grew up using it. Like I have said before, I believe it is important to use many different types, but at the same time many different friends or enemies as well. Ones perspective usually is only one sided and you need others sometimes to clarify what you thought was right in the first place. In God's Grace John

I used The Jerusalem Bible for years, then one day shortly after it was published, I picked up a New Revised Standard and have been hooked ever since.

I really cannot answer the poll. I use several different translations and do not have what I would consider my 'current' one
