Racists in the PCA?

Jon Barlow: Sorry this post is hard hitting. It's not my normal approach, but someone has to say something. We in the Presbyterian Church in America simply have to do something about the racism or at least racial idiocy that still exists in some of our churches. I always thought that perhaps Anthony Bradley exaggerated the presence of such in the PCA, but I have seen the photographic evidence now with my own eyes. A church in South Carolina sponsored its bi-annual "Sons and Guns" event. Now, this is in the south - obviously shooting targets is part of the fun of being a youngster and learning how to handle a firearm responsibly. I'm sure our church has done similar things with skeets and such. But do you know what the men and boys of the church were shooting at in South Carolina? Photographs of MLK, President Bush, Hillary Clinton, Abraham Lincoln, The Pope (!!), etc. One of the young men in their church has a xanga blog and even posted photographs... (MORE)
