Rosa Parks, who in 1955 set in motion one of America's great social revolutions by refusing to leave her seat on the public bus, passed away yesterday. The NPR website has a good overview of Parks and her legacy; be sure to check out the various interviews and media clips there as well. Also worth reading is Christianity Today's reprint of an interview in which Parks discusses her faith and the role that it played in her famous act of protest.
