In a series of surprise blog posts, indie musician Sufjan Stevens explicitly explores his Christian convictions.

He sounds interesting

“There really is no such thing as an illegal immigrant, for we are all immigrants and refugees in a wildly changing world that is dominated by superfluous boundaries built by blood and war.” Right. And there are no such things as property rights. I hope he lets any homeless person or immigrant who wants live in his home with him, performs all his concerts for free, and gives away his recordings for free. This type of thought might be a seed of holy discontent, but it does not evidence any familiarity with hard thinking about the issues.
