What a fine, perceptive review. Thank you very much. *Conclave* is so very fitting for the mire of certainty into which synods ‘22-‘24 have haplessly thrown the denomination. I thought we were supposed to have faith that Christ and the Spirit would help us walk on rough waters, even though we might often sink. But Jesus rescued Peter and will not leave us alone either and will surely always offer Grace that might deservedly hurt, but will also save in God’ inscrutable Way.
