How Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' is more than a break-up album

Thanks for this post, Stephen, for reviewing the album (which I've been listening to a lot of late) and for sharing your own story with vulnerability. I too miss some of the other, more substantial themes from Coldplay's 'Viva la Vida,' and will always consider it more of a classic, but I love many songs on the new album as well.

Viva La Vida is on my all time permanent iPod list. I think they will be hard pressed to top it for poetics, depth and musicality but I hope they keep trying. I look forward to hearing more from the new album. Thanks for the review Steven.

I'm completely with you re Viva La Vida, Mara. It's one of my all-time favorites from any band - Ben

So much better that Focus on the Family's "Plugged In" review - and so much more in line with the thoughts and feelings that I took away from my first listen-through with this album.  Thank you!!  :)
