Louis C.K.’s ‘forever empty’

Sadly, I read this on my iPhone while checking up on all my 'friends'. We need to also be deeply aware that a relationship with God, no matter the level of intimacy is not a panacea, but often exacerbates the feelings of loneliness and emptiness. When we realize that we do not have what we long for in this world, we experience the true pain of all the emptiness that surrounds us. We wait for the 'not yet' that comes in the great Next.
