I’m curious as to why this album is being promoted after the artist had announced her outspoken support of abortion, offering morning after pills to attendees of her concerts and sending a portion of ticket sales to fund abortions.
It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on appreciating an artist and the themes of her art and wrestling with her views that are contrary to our CRC stance on abortion.
There are also 69 comments that are pending approval from last December, making me wonder what those comments are.

None of our articles at Think Christian are simple “promotions” of an artist or their work, nor are they endorsements of every position an artist might hold on any particular issue. Rather, we offer reflections from Christians who have engaged with the art through the lens of their faith. In this case, the album prompted Rachel to consider the theological implications of demands for perfection - demands made on pop stars, as well as demands made on Christians from others within the church.
As to your question about the 69 comments pending approval, all of those are attempts by bots to spam our website. That’s an unfortunate reality of having a site with a commenting feature.
