This is not a movie that should be used to encourage God's children. As a matter of fact, secular movies shouldn't be used at all to teach about God and salvation. The Bible is full of stories for us to use to teach and encourage the children of God.
"Christian movies offer people a way to bond through their faith, whereas secular ones are based on worldly situations. A church is a place to share the love of Christ and a place to be spiritually uplifted. A secular film just can’t provide that same type of connection with Christ."

Hi Eg,

Thanks for visiting our site. We would never insist that every Christian engage with a movie like Shazam!, nor would we deny that there is value for believers in faith-based films. However, as Christians who emphasize God's sovereignty over all things, we very much feel that God's truth can also be found in so-called "secular" films.
