I occassionally watch The Big Bang Theory and The Middle. The Middle is so relatable and Big Bang is just goofy and fun. Friday Night Lights may be on my top 10 all-time best TV shows. Still love Parenthood & Community.

Excellent list.

I just started watching Once Upon a Time over the break and find it fun and original--even if a little too corny to be taken too seriously (despite the twists/turns). It definitely underscores the universal power of story in exploring and communicating good/evil. I'm a little disappointed in its 'good' characters--they seem to be to be just a little too surface to be interesting (and unfortunately I find Henry more annoying than charming). Still, it's only 7 episodes in, and certainly has potential to improve. It's good escape viewing in any case, especially for a girl who grew up, as most did, enamored by fairy tales and fantasy.

Blue Bloods. It's a traditional family makeup that spans three generations. They pray aloud. They espouse conservative principles. Great, definable characters.
