In meeting his weakness with a power grab, Oswald Cobb ignores the warnings of the Apostle Paul.

Boasting about one's shortcomings goes against the grain of society. The Apostle Paul's heart's desire was to glorify God, and point others to Him. If Oz had embraced his flaws and disadvantages, there wouldn't be a movie, because there wouldn't be a plot. Many people watch "The Survivor" on CBS, and choose their favorite contestant. I may be incorrect, but it seems that there is always one person who has a tremendous ego, who is content to bask in their own acclamations and praise. Many people love it when this person fails.
My idea for a challenge like "The Survivor" would be the antithesis - maybe 3 contestants at the start - and the challenges are designed to ADD people who might be able to help the existing team conquer. In Matthew, chapter 20, the owner adds people, throughout the day, promising only to the first few men, a specific amount. He tells the rest of those who volunteer, that he will pay them "what is right." At the end of the day, they all got the same amount, regardless of how long they had worked or what they had done - like what God is going to do for us.
