The multi-artist tribute album Bob Dylan in the ’80s revisits a Dylan changed by faith, yet determined to keep speaking truth into the culture.

Loved the title song and "Do Right to Me Baby" off that "Slow Train Coming" album. I'm with you on "O Mercy." "Where Teardrops Fall" still wrecks me, which is exactly what a song like that is supposed to do. Dylan's ability to speak universally applicable themes into specific and personal lyrics causes his songs to dig in under the skin. I guess Dylan's "Christian phase" spoke to needs and longings some people didn't want to recognize existed within themselves.
