Despite its flaws and rare tragedies, in Disney World I find a strong—if amateur—argument for the restoration of all things.

I returned from a week at Disney Workd just yesterday actually returned a day early due to weather and ability o make changes to my flight. I spent a week with my husband my 3 kids 8 years 3 and 2 years also had extended family my daughter /granddaughter 3 years and her Dad. My kids aunt cousin and sisters and maternal aunts parents. I've been to Disney the last 3 years after a 24 year gap the joy on my kids faces make it worth the money and time and effort I believe the same for my Gods eternal heaven it's worth the effort and time and yes the money too God has blessed me so I can bless others

All human attempts will fail. Christians have been waiting 2000 years for God to bail us out. What might we be preaching on this very planet in another 1000 years?

Enjoyed your perspective. Working most of my life to sort out the intersection of my creativity and theology. Your articulate summary: to employ our gifts and skills to glorify God, serving Him & mankind nails the answer. Well done David! Creating spoonfuls of His Kingdom with you,

David not a bad little article, think bigger not just a Disneyland, but all the beauty on this earth. The mountains, the oceans the places still untouched by men.

Bill Wald not exactly sure what you are saying can you explain?

We are all to love God and be good neighbors but the history of the Church is a history of human efforts to create "the city on the hill." All attempts have failed and every major effort becomes corrupt. Walt Disney would turn over in his grave if he could see how his company has "evolved."
