Flickers of Faith in Final Fantasy XV

Biblical allusions bring a new wrinkle to the latest installment in the video game series.

Ah yes, I love this game for exactly this. And for how many more layers of allusions you can find in it the deeper you look. The way the gameplay focuses on simple human needs for things like food and rest. The motif of burnt offerings presented in the characters' sacrifices. Noct being a king who loves fishing :) And so much of the art design...It just goes on and on. (I wish the last DLC episode would be as thoughtfully done as the main game, but I'm not so sure it's going to be...)
