A post-apocalyptic depiction of man's fallen nature, Mad Max: Fury Road nevertheless clings to an eschatological sense of hope.

I'm reading your review after reluctantly seen the movie. It was my husband's turn to pick a movie since the week before, it was my pick and I chose Little Boy. Can you see why I then say reluctantly?

You sum up the movie well and it's clear that "apocalyptic" movie can leave out hope, no mater how hopeless the situation may seem. We humans, somehow, seem to always survive. Good somehow prevails. It must be because we carry the image of God in us? or inspite of us, that a greater than human force is always ultimately in control?

I must say, I still don't see how the Mad Max franchise has survived. I'm so glad I pick the next movie!
