You obviously missed the clear anti-Christian bias throughout this program, most clearly portrayed in the final episode where a snake gives an apple to the Boudelaires to save them from the poison. Clearly, worldly knowledge (from Satan nonetheless) saves us from such poisons as biblical Christianity.
