The sin-corrupted earth and humanity can certainly seem over-bearing at times and, unfathomable as to why God allows so much evil to thrive. I am so grateful for my salvation in Christ, knowing He has all the answers and somehow works all things together for the good of those that love him and are called according to his purpose.

First thought, your Guardian Angel took care of you. Squirrels don't have guardian angels. I have a great Guardian Angel. I rode motorcycles for 40 years. After a series of spills, my GA let me break 6 ribs and a collar bone. I took the hint after riding for a coupe of months to prove to myself that I wasn't "chicken."

Second, Romans 1 claims we can make discoveries about God by observing the universe around us. My universe seems to be evenly balanced between good and evil.

Job 1 teaches that the world is a computer (?) game between God and Satan. God's answer to Job: I did it because I can do it. "The Matrix" was a mind-changer.

I have no personal complaints against God and agree that HE can do whatever he chooses. I am grateful for being born in the USA in 1940 and living through the best times in the history of the world, all things considered. I never had a serious problem that was not my fault, my stupidity, my curiosity.
