As with Jonah, Moses, and Jeremiah, it takes some convincing for the heroes of The Umbrella Academy to respond to their divine call.

Thanks for framing this show in this light. I really enjoyed the series, and hope to see more. Not being a comics fan over the years I have come late to the genre - mostly through film. I found the Umbrella Academy dark, funny, thoughtful - and prophetic. Well written.
