Time for Another Purge?

What's fascinating about the Purge series from a Christian standpoint is its overt acknowledgement that killing is sacrifice.

What a thoughtful commentary, John. I, too, was fascinated by the premise of this franchise, and I have been tempted to watch the first movie on several occasions, but ultimately the objectionable content steers me away.

It sounds to me like the ultimate horror of the Purge is the same as the ultimate horror of the human condition: in a world without Christ, death and violence dictate the terms of peace.

How glad I am that our Purger is risen from the dead.

I was really fascinated by the first film and am looking forward to the next. I love that Think Christian covered this interesting film. Great post!
