Ugly selfies and spiritual authenticity

Like the church - which is at its most beautiful when we admit our dependency on one another and on Christ - ugly selfies may in fact be the mark of true beauty.

We obsessively take photos of ourselves, desperately trying to perfect our image. Then we talk obsessively about trying to take perfect photos of ourselves. Next, we try obsessively to take imperfect photos to fly in the face of all the time we waste obsessively taking perfect photos...of... ourselves. Now, let's talk about that...or not.
