TC Movie Club: Fargo

Fargo is the first movie we’re considering as part of our series on the films of Joel and Ethan Coen: "O Brothers, Where Art Thou?" Throughout the series, we’re placing a handful of their movies within an Old Testament/New Testament framework. Does Fargo represent the limitations of the law - our inability to keep it, its inability to constrain evil? Or does it demonstrate the way unmerited grace can step in to fulfill the law for us?
