No Country for Old Men is the third movie we’re considering as part of our series on the films of Joel and Ethan Coen. Throughout the series, we’re placing a handful of their movies within an Old Testament/New Testament framework. A bleak tale of death and violence spilling out across the hills of southwest Texas, might No Country nevertheless give evidence of the beauty of the Law, as understood in the Old Testament?
